A preservation project for the technical knowledge and legacy of the Pontiac Fiero.

Welcome to FieroWiki

What Is FieroWiki?

FieroWiki is a free, independent knowledge base and archival project for everything related to the Pontiac Fiero: the innovative American mid-engine sports car produced by Pontiac from 1984 to 1988.

This wiki aims to gather technical documentation, historical resources, restoration guides, and community knowledge in one place. Every article and manual helps Fieros stay on the road for future generations.

All materials are used under fair use and educational purposes where applicable. See more

Things you'll find here

Searching

  • You can search any topic, part, or piece of information using the site’s built-in search tool above. If something isn’t listed here and you think it should be, see the Contributing section below.

FieroWiki’s site-wide navigation bar is on the left. Use it to:

  • Quickly access FieroWiki-specific pages such as quick reference material, file downloads, and policy pages
  • Reach the landing pages for archived websites preserved by FieroWiki

The sidebar on the right contains the Table of Contents for the page you’re currently viewing. Use it to:

  • Jump directly to a specific section on the page

Each archived site will also have its own sitemap, menu, or index page for navigating its resources and pages.

Files and Downloads

Larger files such as PDFs, videos, 3D files/scans, and other archived materials are hosted on FieroWiki’s file server (FieroFile). These files use links beginning with https://fierofile.samwarr.dev/. Downloads linked in this manner are considered part of the FieroWiki website.

While FieroWiki takes precautions against malware by scanning files with various tools, all third-party content is hosted as-is. FieroWiki cannot guarantee that all hosted files (especially executables!) are completely safe. Always use caution when downloading files.

Mission

The goal when I started FieroWiki was simple: to preserve and organize the collective knowledge of the Fiero community before it disappears. Too many original Fiero websites, forums, and technical resources have vanished over the years, lost to server shutdowns, expired domains, or lack of a maintainer. FieroWiki tries to bring that information back together, properly attributed and organized, in one place for educational and historical purposes.

FieroWiki also focuses on finding and archiving at-risk online resources (such as older personal sites or defunct forums) to prevent the loss of the valueable information they contain. Archived materials are always credited to their original authors whenever possible, with clear source links and archival metadata.

If you are the creator or copyright holder of any archived content and wish to have it modified or removed, please see the the Contributing section below for ways to contact me.

FieroWiki content is also mirrored continuously on the FieroWiki GitHub repository and periodically backed up offline to help ensure long-term preservation.
